Unless your uncle is a millionaire, and can be sued for BIG bucks . . . you are out of luck!
How much do lawyers charge as a contingency fee?
The percentage amount will vary from state to state and lawyer to lawyer, but is usually influenced by such factors as the type of case involved, the lawyer’s estimate of its strength, and the stage at which recovery is made, such as 25% if recovery is obtained in early negotiations, 30% after filing suit, and 35% after trial.
Lawyers go by 2 different billings.
Either they charge you fixed amount per hr (like 200$ per hr) ..
or a % cut out of ur settlement amount…most prbably anyone will be doing th at.
Most lawyers if they take your case they want a share of the proceeds And most have free consultations!~:)
