Go pro se.Learn the legal lingo, but add truth to it and if you are in the right you will win.
I TRIED the PRO_BONO thing and had no luck—
you will NOT win without a PAID laywer..

Pro bono atty’s only work for people in jail needing representation, not child custody cases. You will have to hire and pay for your own atty. If you can’t take care of your child and you don’t have a job and applying for assistance you may not get custody at all. Better get an atty. and a good one.
Contact legal aid or your local bar association for pro bono clinics in your area.
