The state of Nebraska has a child support order against a friend of mine, who resides in Mississippi. His children also reside in Mississippi, and Mississippi is collecting Buy Xenical support as well for the same children. Mississippi is the initiating state. Nebraska will not close the case and return it to Mississ as has been requested several times. A new support order has been issued in Mississ., and sent to Nebraska, yet they refuse to respond. A letter has been sent to the attorney general in Nebraska, now at a loss of the next step. Trying to find out how to bring a suit against Nebraska. Big mess, need advice!
Thanks

I’d start by looking at national organizations that help parents and friends like yours in similar situations.
Then, I’d call lawyers in MS and NE and find out what to do. They could tell you who to call.
Maybe there are some advocacy groups.
check with your yellow pages or contact state association of lawyers.
In order to find an attorney, start by asking friends/relatives if they know anyone who can refer you. Then talk to that attorney, even if this is not their specialty, because attorneys can be the best referrors of other attorneys sometimes. They may know someone who does very well in family law. If that doesn’t work, try your local Bar Association.
type ‘lawyerdude’ into your search engine, this kind of stuff is right up his alley.
