The numbers will vary depending on the attorney. Usually they don’t charge per hour they charge a flat rate. The Mississippi State Bar Association can give you a referal for a good criminal attorney in the area.
Each attorney charges differently according to their schedule, experience, etc. I would expect the average to be somewhere between $150 to $200 per hour. You can just call around and ask. And don’t be afraid to negotiate the rate when you settle on the attorney you want to use. If he’s hurting for business, you can talk him down a ways on his hourly rate.
