I am planning on entering law school but many sources say that the law field is oversaturated with attorneys but other sources say that is plenty of work available.

I’m no expert, but to paraphrase James Scott Bell (in a legal thriller I just read): We can’t have too many GOOD lawyers.
I heard the market was saturated, and some lawyers are working as lowly paralegals. Those who are employed as lawyers are trying to make partner, and wind up sleeping on a futon in the office.
But if you like law, do what you love!
Both. It’s a good field, but there are too many attorneys. If you’re good, than there will always be work for you. If you’re just average or on the bad side, things are going to be difficult.
There are a lot of lawyers, but there’s always a need for a good lawyer.
If you like the legal profession, then you’ll find a job. There are plenty of job opportunities and plenty of employers looking to hire.
