me asked:
My husband is trying to get custody of my children, he has a lawyer and i cannot afford one. I’m pretty sure just by that my chances of having my children are slim. I was wondering if anyone knows of any attorneys that are willing to take a case on a pro bono basis. I am in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Call the Nevada State Bar’s lawyer referral service at (702) 382-0504. They may be able to refer you to one that will take it on a pro bono or reduced fee basis.
You can also try the UNLV law school’s law clinic. They often take cases on a pro bono basis to get their students court time.
Take a look at the ads for this list of attorneys, and give some of them a call as well. I can’t say if some of them will take a case on a pro bono basis, but some will be willing to work with you if you call and explain your situation. Give a few of these a call, and good luck to you!
