How much do attorney fees costs when buying a home?

I live in Texas and I am in the process of buying a home directly from the seller. My bank suggests going to an attorney to have them complete the buyer/seller paperwork. What does it usually cost for this?

that is really a regional question. Closing costs typically run about 3% of the purchase price. Attorney fees are included in that. Attorney feels alone can run anywhere from 350 to 1200.
